Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is Getting a Free Demo From December 15-20

If you were skeptical about picking up Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare it’s your lucky day, because there is going to be a free trial at the end of this week.

The five action-packed days begin at 10 am PST on December 15 and goes through to 10 am PST December 20, and gives players access to all three game-modes: Singleplayer, Multiplayer, and Zombies. There are some limits though. For the Storymode the first two missions “Rising Threat” and “Black Sky” will be available, for the Multiplayer there will be a level cap of 15, and for Zombies players will be able to get up to level three.

To get into the demo you have to go into the PlayStation Store and search up “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Free Trial” and you will be able to download it from there. Alternatively you can download the trial from the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare game page by clicking on the “Demos” section.

There are a few requirements for the demo. The first ones is that you will have to have PlayStation Plus if you want to play the Multiplayer or Zombies game modes. Also keep in mind that the free demo is a restricted version of the full game, so you will have to download the entire game which is about 60 GB to play it. (You won’t have to re-download the game it if you purchase it).

There’s another bonus to this free event, and it’s something that should be a regular feature in free demos. “If you purchase the game, your progress and experience will carry over,” said Kevin Kelly in a post on the PlayStation Blog. It’s a nice touch and adds a sense of permanence to everything you do. The bottom line is that everything you do in the free trial of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare won’t be tossed out if you decide to buy it.
